We want to thank our student representatives who work hard to make sure Amicus has a presence at universities across the UK. With 5 awards to be handed out, and 4 wonderful guest speakers, this is set to be a wonderful evening.

We will also be announcing the winners of our annual Amicus Champions of Justice Awards, recognising and honouring the outstanding contributions to justice made by individuals and legal teams this year.

Years of carrying out death row executions have taken a toll on prison warden, Bernadine Williams. The emotional wedge in her marriage grows. Memories of a recently botched execution plague her daily. As she prepares to execute another inmate, Bernadine must confront the psychological and emotional demons her job creates, ultimately connecting her to the man she is sanctioned to kill.
